The SE Hollowbody II Piezo blends the warm, airy tone unique to hollow-body guitars with the powerful presence of a solid-body electric guitar.Its construction, featuring a maple top and back with mahogany sides, delivers not only an attractive look but also a dynamic sound rich in harmonics. The included 58/15 LT “S” pickup, paired with the hollow body, produces a clear, balanced, and three-dimensional sound.

This model features the L.R. Baggs/PRS Piezo system, allowing you to freely switch between electric and acoustic sounds with a single guitar. Two independent volume knobs for the magnetic pickup and piezo pickup enable dual outputs (Mix/Piezo and Magnetic).

By connecting to the “Mix/Piezo” jack and adjusting both volume controls, you can blend the piezo acoustic sound with the sound from the 58/15 LT “S” pickups. You can also use both output jacks simultaneously: send the magnetic pickup signal to a guitar amp and the piezo signal to an acoustic amp or directly to a PA system via a DI.

Note that when using only the magnetic pickup output jack, the battery for the piezo system is completely bypassed. Therefore, even if the battery runs out, the magnetic pickup can still be used normally.
