Yamaha guitars will celebrate their 60th anniversary in 2026, starting with the release of the YAMAHA folk guitars “FG-180” and “FG-150”, the electric guitars “SG-3” and “SG-2”, the electric bass “SB-2”, and the guitar amplifiers “No.500” and “No.250” in 1966.

To mark this milestone, the “FG9 60TH” will be produced and sold as a limited edition Yamaha Guitar 60th Anniversary Model.
